Dear Customers
Firstly may I say thank you to each of you for all the support you have shown us since lockdown began. You have certainly keeping us busy with orders and we are doing our best to get them to you as quickly as possible.
However as many of you are discovering there are significant delays with Royal Mail. We are finding it is taking anything from a few days to a couple of weeks for parcels to be delivered. There is literally nothing we can do once your parcel has left us we cannot track it's progress and you are just going to have to trust us and Royal Mail it will be delivered eventually. Please do not email or phone us chasing delivery if it is within 14 days of you placing an order. Not only am I finding it stressful and it's got to the point I'm dreading opening emails from customers, it's taking time away from us packing orders causing further delays. Royal Mail haven't actually lost any of our parcels during the lockdown period they have all been delivered eventually.
For those of you that need to come into Wakefield shopping or visit the bank, it is possible to collect your order using our click and collect service. If you wish to collect please contact us before ordering to arrange a time.
As you will expect we are postponing all planned workshops for May. We will be in touch once we have reopened to offer you an alternate date. I had originally started offering new dates for workshops but it would appear that the shop will be closed for much longer than expected.
One thing that has got me through this apart from all the lovely messages is the mystery boxes. I'm having so much fun deciding what is going in them and packing them up. If you haven't had one yet you can find all the details here.
